Work conferences can be a boring ordeal, in a dull and grey building somewhere in the middle of nowhere…. or they could be the opposite: a week filled with fun workshops in a city that is as crazy as they come: Las Vegas! In March, we flew out there for WPPI 2014, the Wedding Photography Association’s annual gettogether at the MGM Grand.
After the conference, we hired a car and did a road trip all the way to Austin, Texas, which took us on a large chunck of the historic Route 66. After a day and a half of driving the Route 66 through the barren landscape of Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico, we made it to the breathtakingly beautiful White Sands National Monument near the Mexican border, just in time for the golden hour goodness.
