There’s something special about winter weddings… It seems like the cold outside makes people behave a little warmer, and appreciate being together with family and loved ones just a little more. On a cold but sunny January day, I got to capture a lot of heartwarming moments as Leni & Brecht said ‘yes’ to one another in the Antwerp city hall, followed by a beautiful ceremony at the always impressive Carolus Borromeus church.
The shoot was a lot of fun, touring around the city center in a classic Jaguar, and having some of Antwerp’s many historic sights as a backdrop. A little less historic, but at least as much fun, were the pictures we took in a store window – especially the surprised look on the faces of shoppers who passed by were priceless. =)
After a first reception at the majestic ‘Paleis op de Meir’, the party continued at ‘Domein Martinus’, where the guests enjoyed food, drinks & tunes until the wee hours….
