I always feel very lucky and proviledged when, as a wedding photographer, I get to be part of people’s special day. That feeling is only amplified when you’ve known the bride and groom for a long time, and feel all the more connected to their joy and excitement about the wedding day.
On a beautiful September day, my long time friend Sophie said ‘yes’ to her prince charming, Geert. The day started out at Sophie’s parents house, which was buzzing with activity from the early morning hours. The nerves calmed down quickly enough, as Geert pulled up in the coolest wedding car ever: a genuine DeLorean!
After the civil ceremony and a beautiful church wedding, the guests got to enjoy an elaborate choice of food and drinks at the picturesque Domaine Smette in Haut Ittre.
