It must have been about 7 years ago that my dear friends Pieter, Niko & Willem-Jan started the tradition of doing a road trip once a year. During that time, we leave wives and girlfriends behind and set out to explore a little part of Europe we haven’t visited before. Previous editions have taken us to Sweden, Denmark Spain, France, Switzerland, but this time we decided to stay a little closer to home and check out the Black Forest region of Germany. Below, you’ll find the photographic account of our three days in the Schwarzwald region…
A hike to the altes Schloß,beer and Black Forest Cake.
Home of the cuckoo clock, and the highest waterfall in Germany.
A chapel (that turned out to be closed).
