Bohemian trouwfeest in De Laro Hoogstraten | Julie & Bert

Perfection is not of this world, or so the saying goes. It’s all the more rare and amazing then, when things go just right, to the point where you can hardly believe your luck. That’s the feeling I got as I was documenting the story of Julie & Bert’s wedding day.

The modern and ultra stylish B&B Svilla in Turnhout, where the bridal party was getting ready, was the best location a wedding photographer could ask for: lovely setting, big windows, lots of light, but most of all: lots of love and laughs, provided by Julie & her bridesmaids.

My luck continued as we got to the venue, where Julie & Bert exchanged their vows and I Do‘s in front of their relatives and friends in the lush green setting of De Laro. The ceremony was full of moving, emotional speeches by their loved ones, and there was hardly a dry eye around.

The same theme continued over dinner and during the party: lots of loving and lovely people, all in for a good time! Feeling truly blessed to have been invited to witness and document this day, I returned home with a happy heart. Thanks again, Julie & Bert!
