A few weeks ago I met up with Sabine & Philippe near the Dutch border, at the amazing site of the Verbeke Foundation. I arrived a little early, explored the surroundings and couldn’t believe my eyes! It was a dream come true for any romantic photographer: lots of different settings, quaint details, artwork, a pond, cute bridges… you name it! The first half of the day had been rainy and grey, but towards the ‘golden hour’, the sky cleared up and a beautiful sunset appeared. Bingo! To top things of, Sabine & Philippe turned out to be natural models. They claim they had never posed for a photographer before but nailed it like professional models. I really loved their energy and I think that same energy can be seen on the photos below.
